Kellie Martin, an American TV and film actress best known for her roles in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama' series "Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Family drama 'Life Goes on The Life Goes On', and Lucy Knight in the medical drama series 'ER'. Kellie Martin is best known for her role as the main character of her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Born to a department store owner and a kindergarten teacher Martin began her acting career at the young age of seven when her aunt, who served as a nanny for Michael Landon's children was able to help her get her a role in the 1982 show 'Father Murphy'. Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously and landed substantial roles, both on the small and the big screen. Apart from being an actor, Martin is also a talented photographer, as well as a dancer. Two daughters are hers and a son, she is also the Lupus ambassador and has been spreading awareness of the illness every day since the death of her sister when she was age 19.
